Victor Osimhen Faces New Transfer Twist Amid Chelsea Interest and Al-Hilal Pressure

Victor Osimhen’s future remains uncertain as fresh developments emerge in Chelsea’s long-standing interest in the Napoli striker.
The 25-year-old, who was strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last summer, is now at the centre of a renewed transfer saga involving Premier League and Saudi Pro League clubs.
According to football.london, Chelsea submitted a late bid last summer for Osimhen, reportedly proposing a season-long loan with an obligation to buy. However, the deal collapsed in the final days of the window, with Napoli unwilling to agree to the structure of the offer. As a result, Osimhen’s much-anticipated move to west London was put on hold.
Since then, tensions between Osimhen and Napoli have grown, particularly under new head coach Antonio Conte, who has reportedly banished the striker from the first-team setup. Amid this uncertainty, Osimhen has received a strong offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, with reports suggesting he’s been encouraged to join the Pro League side.
Despite the lucrative offer, Osimhen instead opted for a loan move to Galatasaray, signalling his preference to remain in European football. His temporary switch offers him regular game time and keeps the door open for a potential move back to the Premier League.
With Enzo Maresca keen to add firepower to Chelsea’s attack this summer, the Blues may revisit their interest in Osimhen. However, any future deal will likely depend on Napoli’s valuation and the player’s willingness to reject further Saudi interest.
