RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has offered the clearest indication yet regarding his future, amid strong links to Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive season in the Bundesliga, netting 21 goals and providing six assists in 45 appearances, firmly establishing himself as one of Europe’s most promising young forwards.

Sesko has been the subject of interest from several top clubs, but Arsenal are reportedly leading the race for his signature. Mikel Arteta is determined to strengthen his squad this summer, particularly in attack, as the Gunners look to mount a serious title challenge following close finishes behind Liverpool and Manchester City in recent seasons.

Arsenal are also closing in on the signing of midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and have expressed interest in Brentford’s Christian Nørgaard and Real Madrid winger Rodrygo. However, Sesko is believed to be Arteta’s top target as the club searches for a world-class centre-forward to lead the line at the Emirates.

Fueling speculation further, Sesko followed Arsenal’s official Instagram account on June 25, a move that has not gone unnoticed by fans. While social media activity alone doesn’t confirm a transfer, such gestures often hint at ongoing discussions or mutual interest between player and club.

With Arsenal keen to finalise key deals early in the window, Sesko’s subtle move could be a sign that a major transfer is edging closer to completion.
