Arsenal are expected to complete a productive summer transfer window, with football.london forecasting up to six significant moves as Mikel Arteta prepares his squad for the 2025/26 campaign.

The club is already nearing the completion of two key deals: midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea. Zubimendi’s transfer is in its final stages following the resolution of personal terms and transfer structure, while activating Kepa’s £5 million release clause is all that remains to secure his arrival as a backup goalkeeper.

With Jorginho departing on a free transfer and Aaron Ramsdale expected to leave following reduced playing time, Kepa’s addition will fill a necessary gap in goalkeeping depth. Meanwhile, Zubimendi strengthens Arsenal’s midfield as a long-term successor to Thomas Partey, who is also set to exit the club this summer after contract talks failed to progress.

Looking ahead, Arsenal are hopeful of landing Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres to lead the line. A natural goal scorer with physical presence and proven consistency, the Swedish international is a prime target for Arteta. Additionally, a £77 million-rated winger is believed to be under serious consideration as the Gunners aim to bolster their attacking options.

Defensively, a decision is expected soon on 19-year-old Ajax talent Jorrel Hato, with Arsenal keen to secure the highly rated defender before rivals make a move.

Altogether, the Gunners’ summer activity reflects a clear intent to build a title-winning squad.
