Chelsea in race for Dortmund striker

Chelsea have been linked with moves for several players ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Blues who are said to be willing to part ways with 15 of their players are focused on signing new strikers.

A recent report claimed Chelsea are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund attacker Jamie Gittens.

A report claim that the Blues are considering a move for Gittens, who has put up impressive performance at the Bundesliga club over the last four years.

Dortmund are said to value the 20-year-old star at £50m. This means the Blues will have to make significant payment for the right-footed winger, who has the ability to develop into a world-class forward.

While they continue to work on the possible deal for Gittens, the Blues are expected to announce the signing of their first summer signing in Liam Delap soon.

Delap who will join the Blues from Ipswich Town could replace Nicolas Jackson.

Aside from Gittens, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca are also said to be considering moves for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao.

We will have to wait to see how the summer transfer window will turn out for Chelsea and Maresca.
