Chelsea take decision of Man Utd striker

As the season draws to an end, Chelsea led by manager Enzo Maresca have been linked with several strikers they could sign in the summer transfer window.

The Blues, who are still in the race to finish in the top five to earn a spot in the Champions League have had issues with their striker Nicolas Jackson, who has been misfiring for quite some time now.

With Jackson failing to establish himself as their number nine, the Blues have drawn a list of strikers they could sign to bolster their attack.

Aside from Jackson, Mykhailo Mudryk, on whom the Blues spent a huge transfer fee, tested positive for doping in December 2024 and has since been suspended indefinitely.

The future of the likes of Noni Madueke, Jadon Sancho and Christopher Nkunku are also uncertain as they could depart Stamford Bridge in the summer.

A report via Caught Offside, claimed the Blues have cooled their interest in Manchester United Alejandro Garnacho.

Instead of the Red Devils winger, they have made Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens their target.

Unlike Garnacho, Gittens has been impressive for the German side this season, scoring 12 goals and creating five assists in 48 matches across all competitions.

His performances seems to have convinced the Blues to include the 20-year-old winger in players they could sign in the summer.
