Perfect fit: Chelsea advised to sign this Napoli striker

Former football that Gabriel Agbonlahor has advised the Blues on the new addition to introduce in their attack in the summer transfer window.

While reports have emerged linking Chelsea with moves for new a striker, Agbonlahor also opined that the Blues sign a centre-forward in the summer.

So far, the Blues have had to rely on Nicolas Jackson, 23, as their first-choice striker for two consecutive seasons.

And this has cost them chances as they are now close to losing a chance to finish in the top five if they fail to beat Manchester United.

Ahead of their Premier League game against the Red Devils come Friday, Chelsea will be without a striker as both Jackson and Christopher Nkunku will be unavailable.

talkSPORT pundit Agbonlahor has advised Chelsea to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer.

According to Agbonlahor, Osimhen would be a perfect fit at Stamford Bridge, adding that he is certain the 26-year-old centre-forward would be a real upgrade on Jackson.

Agbonlahor said via talkSPORT: “I think Osimhen is a Chelsea player. He’s a better option than Nicolas Jackson, a better finisher.”

He added that Osimhen is outstanding in the air and can hold the ball up and get in behind as well, which makes him a good choice for the Blues.
