Chelsea are looking forward to make some new addition in the summer transfer window as reports have linked them to new players.

The Blues will be looking to strengthen their squad after they went down to 2-0 against Newcastle United away from home on Sunday in an important game to qualify for Champions League football next season.

Following their loss to the Magpies, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca in a post-match statement admitted that Nikolas Jackson needs to learn from what happened against the Magpies moving forward.

A recent report via talkSPORT disclosed that Burnley defender CJ Egan-Riley is close to joining Strasbourg, a club also owned by Chelsea owners, BlueCo, on a free transfer.

With Egan-Riley out of contract, he has been offered a five-year deal by BlueCo to join Strasbourg.

The 22-year-old was a Manchester City academy graduate, and has been at Burnley for three seasons now.

Chelsea’s owners could secure Egan-Riley transfer to Stamford Bridge if he signs for Strasbourg.
