Chelsea Forward Christopher Nkunku Advised to Consider Arsenal Move Amid Struggles

Christopher Nkunku, the £52m signing from RB Leipzig, has faced a challenging spell at Chelsea since his high-profile move in 2023.

Despite his impressive record in the Bundesliga, where he was named Player of the Season and topped the scoring charts in 2022-23, the 27-year-old has struggled to replicate that form in the Premier League.

Nkunku’s debut season at Stamford Bridge was marred by significant injury setbacks, limiting his impact.

Although he has found some success in European competition, netting 11 goals in the Europa Conference League, his domestic form has been less convincing, with just six league goals to his name.

Chelsea, reportedly willing to offload the French forward, considered offers from Manchester United and Bayern Munich during the January transfer window. Now, the club appears ready to part ways with Nkunku as they look to invest in a new striker, potentially replacing both Nkunku and current first-choice forward Nicolas Jackson.

Amid this uncertain future, a former Chelsea title winner has suggested that Arsenal could be a “good club” for Nkunku to revive his career.

With the Gunners reportedly exploring attacking reinforcements this summer, a move across London might provide Nkunku with a fresh start and an opportunity to rediscover his best form.
