With Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu sidelined by injuries, Chelsea may explore the free agent market to address their striker shortage.

Both players picked up knocks during the recent 2-1 win over West Ham and are expected to be out until at least April.

In their absence, Christopher Nkunku led the line in Chelsea’s FA Cup defeat to Brighton. However, manager Enzo Maresca has reiterated that Nkunku is more suited to an attacking midfield role than a striker.
