Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim in a recent statement spoke about Alejandro Garnacho’s future at Old Trafford.

Amorim stated that he doesn’t know if Garnacho will remain at the club or leave before the end of the January transfer window.

It is no longer news that the 20-year-old’s future is in doubt at Old Trafford, with Italian side Napoli and Chelsea reported to be keen to sign him.

Napoli have already seen their offer in the region of £40m rejected by the Red Devils.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are said to be ready to meet with Man United to discuss a possible swap deal.

Meanwhile, Garnacho returned to action for the Red Devils in their game against Fulham on Sunday, but he struggled to make his mark in what turned out to be a 1-0 win for Man Utd.

Amorim when asked about the Argentina international’s future in his post-match press conference, did not guarantee that he would remain at Old Trafford.
