Man Utd star prefers move to Chelsea

Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost in the ongoing January transfer window as Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho prefers a move to Stamford Bridge over Napoli, according to TyC Sport.

According to reports, Serie A side Napoli have already seen an offer turned down for Garnacho as the Red Devils initially held out for £70m.

Chelsea have also been linked with moves to sign the 20-year-old before the end of the January transfer window.

Recent reports also revealed that Garnacho’s agents were present at Stamford Bridge on Monday night as the Blues defeat Wolves 3-1.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils chieftains had further discussion with Napoli on Tuesday and reports in Italy claim that they have now reduced their asking price to €65m (£54.8m).

However,  Garnacho wants to remain in the Premier League with Chelsea being is preferred destination.

The Blues  yet to submit an offer to Man United for Garnacho.

Manager Ruben Amorim also didn’t give any comment on Garnacho’s future while speaking in pre-match conference ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash with Rangers.

It is unlikely that the Red Devils will allow Garnacho move to a direct rival club like Chelsea amid their poor form this season.
