Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided a new update on Gabriel Jesus’ health status ahead of their game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Recall that Jesus sustained injury during the Gunners game against Manchester United on Sunday.

The Brazil star was made to leave the field late in the first half in some discomfort, and was immediately sent for analysis to discover the severity of the injury.

Arteta in a pre-match statement on Tuesday revealed that the Brazilian’s injury “doesn’t look good”.

The manager is yet to have all the information as to what has happened and how long the team could be without Jesus.

Arteta revealed Arsenal need to review with one more specialist to probably have better information.

“I don’t want to confirm anything until we’ve had the final report. It’s the doctor’s job to do that, but we were very worried straight away after the game and we are very worried today.
Let’s wait until the tests,” he said.
