Dortmund to sign this Chelsea striker

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund will also be busy this January as they are in the race to make some new signings.

The recent report revealed Chelsea attacker Carmey Chukwuemeka, who has been linked with moves away from the Premier League side could be headed for Borussia Dortmund.

The German club are said to be interested in signing the attacking midfielder, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Recall that Chukwuemeka moved to Stamford Bridge from Aston Villa in August 2022 for a reported transfer fee of £20 million.

He made 17 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea in his first season without scoring or assisting any goals.

Last season, he made 12 appearances; while he has only played five matches this season.

So far this campaign, Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, is yet to name him in the Premier League lineup even once.

He has failed to impress Maresca and is now one of the players tipped to leave Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, his former club, Aston Villa, have shown interest in re-signing him but are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s demand.

This is because he has a contract with the Blues that will keep him at the club until 2028, with his current price tag at £40 million.

Aside from Aston Villa, West Ham are also reported to be interest in Chukwuemeka.
