Chelsea’s Maresca names 3 teams to win EPL title

Chelsea newly appointed manager Enzo Maresca has shared opinion about who would win their Premier League title this season.

Despite the Blues witnessing a positive turnaround in their performance under Maresca in the Premier League this season, the manager named three clubs that stand a chance of winning the EPL title ahead of  Chelsea.

As of now Chelsea seat in the top four on the league table alongside Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal.

However, Maresca is of the opinion that the Blues are not likely to win the title this season.

The Blues manager predicted one of Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal to be crowned champions.

Addressing the press in a conference on Friday, Maresca insisted that the Blues are not in the title race.

“I already said this… we are not there,” Maresca said.

As of now, Chelsea are currently in third spot on 22 points, level on points with Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will return to action this weekend in the Premier League when they face Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Maresca and his team will hope to end the game with another three points against Aston Villa so as to remain in the top four which happens to be their focus this season.
