Chelsea ready to sell injury-prone right back
Ahead of the next transfer window, Chelsea are said to be ready to part ways with defender Reece James.
It appears James’ time at Stamford Bridge could be coming to an end, as a recent report revealed the West London side are open to selling the 24-year-old star.
This is owing to the right-back’s persistent injury issues, which have kept him on the sidelines and seen him miss a numerous games over the last two seasons.
The Blues will, however, find it hard to find clubs willing to buy Reece for the right price.
James was once rated the best right back in the Premier League but currently, he’s not part of that conversation owing to his incessant injuries.
The 24-year-old English star has suffered injury issues to his troublesome hamstring, which has seen him miss games in past two campaigns.
Spanish club Real Madrid were once interested in signing James but it is unlike that the Los Blancos would still come back for the 24-year-old star.
However, should Chelsea make him available for a cut-price deal, the Spanish club might consider.
