Boost for Arsenal as Man City are now third favourite to win EPL

This season has witnessed an unexpected turnaround at Manchester City under manager Pep Guardiola.

The Citizens who used to be highly rated and won the Premier League title have seen their performance dipped lately.

Man City who were previously tipped to win the EPL title this season, are now struggling to remain in the top three.

A recent report via Sky Bet claimed Manchester City are now a third-favourite to win the Premier League.

This comes after their 4-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The defeat was the first time since the 2016/2017 season that Man City have been third favourites or worse in the market.

Although the Guardiola led City squad are second on the log, they are eight points behind league toppers Liverpool and only one clear of Arsenal and Chelsea.

Arsenal led by manager Mikel Arteta have leapfrogged Man City and are now 10/3 second-favourites to win their first title in over two decades.

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool under their new manager Arne Slot are the favourites in the market at a short 4/5.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur round out the five favourites, with the pair priced at 20/1 and 40/1 respectively.

We will have to see how the rest of the season will play out for the top six in the EPL.
