Chelsea have suffered major blows ahead of their next Premier League game against Liverpool after the international break

The west London side will be without Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana for when they play the Reds at Anfield.

This comes as Cucurella and Fofana picked up their fifth bookings of this campaign during the Blues 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest over the weekend.

Going by the rules, this is an automatic one-match ban for both players.

A highlight during Chelsea’s game against Nottingham Forest on Sunday at Stamford Bridge saw a 20-man brawl on the pitch.

While Nottingham Forest’s James Ward-Prowse was sent off the pitch, the Blues had six of their own players booked.

There are speculations that Chelsea could also be faced with another £25,000 fine for failing to control their players.

The display at Stamford Bridge stirred up discussion on social media after the match, with footballer lovers sharing their opinions.

As they head to the international break, the west London side led by manager Enzo Maresca remained seated at the fourth spot on the league table.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are the current toppers in the Premier League ahead of Man City and Arsenal.
