Despite not losing a match, Scholes explains why Arsenal have disappointed him
Former Manchester United stat, Paul Scholes has berated Arsenal over their performance in the Premier League this season, stating that he has been disappointed.
So far this season, the North London club are yet to lose a game in the Premier League and have won 11 points from a possible 15 after their 2-2 draw with Manchester City last weekend.
Despite this, Scholes has not been impressed with Arsenal, stressed that the North London club are struggling.
Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Scholes said Arsenal, at some point, have got to defeat Manchester City at the Etihad.
He shared how he had been anticipating Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League this season, but he has been a little bit disappointed with their start to the season.
According to Scholes, Arsenal have been poor going forward this campaign especially when compared with the goals they scored last season.
He recall how the North London club were advised to sign a centre forward in the summer and thought they probably didn’t need it.
“But five or six games in, it feels like Arsenal are struggling – it’s not quite clicking,” Scholes.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will return to action tonight when they play against Bolton in the EFL tournament.
