Man City striker taunts Arteta after 2-2 draw
Manchester City striker and Norway international Erling Haaland sent a message to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after their weekend draw in the Premier League.
Haaland advised Arteta to remain humble after both sides played out a 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Recall that the Man City star opened the score board for the hosts before goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes gave the visitors the lead.
However, a late goal from John Stones prevented Arsenal from winning three points against the Citizens.
Towards the end of the match, both sets of players clashed with each other as tempers were heightened over the match outcome.
A video which surfaced on social media showed where Haaland slapped Arteta on the back and told him to “stay humble, eh, stay humble” after the full-time whistle.
The Gunners manager was seen turning around to face Haaland after hearing the comment.
He stared at the Norwegian striker but then walked away.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Man City will now turn their attention to the EFL Cup tournaments.
While Arsenal will are set to face Bolton during the week, Man City were paired against Watford.
Both side will hope to emerged winners against their opponents.
