Euro 24: Rooney names players who reminds him of Ronaldo

Former Manchester United striker and English star, Wayne Rooney in a recent statement compared Nico Williams to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Williams has emerged as one of the most impressive players at the ongoing Euro 2024 as the Spanish La Roja reached the final, where they will face England.

Rooney stated that the Athletic Bilbao forward has physical attributes like a younger Ronaldo, who he played with during his football career at Old Trafford.

The former Man Utd star in a statement via The Times said Williams, for has been exceptional for Spain in the ongoing Euro 24 tournament.

Speaking about Williams’ style of player, Rooney said he is a big lad, he’ll take the ball and sometimes tries too much but usually makes the right decisions.
