Chelsea have remain consistent in their form as they return to action on Saturday against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

The Blues manager Mauricio Pochettino couldn’t help but applaud his players following the impressive win, which he described as an important win.

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson scored the winning goal after Nothing Fores looked to have won it 2-1, thanks to Callum Hudson-Odoi’s strike.

The home side jubilated at the Forest Ground, with the fans celebrating a confirmed spot in the Premier League.

However, their celebration was cut short when Raheem Sterling made it 2-2, before Jackson headed in Reece James’ cross.

Pochettino while speaking to BBC Match of the Day, said the match was a difficult challenge.

He admitted that it was tough against a Nottingham Forest team who have had a fantastic season.

The Argentine manager said it was a party for Nottingham Forest because they started the game being sure they would be playing in the Premier League next year.

Pochettino, however, stressed that the most important thing was that the Blues were able to win three points.

He also acknowledged that they didn’t really replicate the performance from previous games against Tottenham and West Ham, where they were impressive.
