Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has sent a message of concern over one of Chelsea’s most expensive recent signings, Enzo Fernandez.

This comes after Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Thursday in the English Premier League.

The Blues who were without many of their key players won the match thanks to efforts from Trevor Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson.

The outcome of the match has boosted the west London club’s chances of playing in Europe next season as they have now moved to the 8th spot on the league table.

With three more matches to go before the season ends, Chelsea will have to win their games to move higher on the table.

Ahead of next season, Redknapp pointed out that some players, including Moises Caicedo, have yet to show to their potential at Stamford Bridge.

According to Redknapp, Fernandez who has been battling a nagging hernia issue and is undergoing surgery, is “a bit of a problem” for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Redknapp said the Argentine who has been at Stamford Bridge for 18 months needs to improve and get his act together.
