Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reacted to their stunning victory against Chelsea on Tuesday night in the Premier League.

The Gunners who hosted the Blues at Emirates Stadium won all three points with a 5-0 scoreline.

After taking an early lead in the first half, the Gunners held onto the advantage going into the half-time break before showing ruthlessness as they scored four goals in the second half.

“With the result, with the goals, with the clean sheet and then overall with the night that we lived together with our supporters, it was magical from the beginning,” Mikel said after the match.

“We started really good, very determined and created many, many chances. Then we became a bit sloppy and we lost one or two balls in dangerous areas and they can punish you and we should have got punished and in the second half we reacted.

“We were much more disciplined, the same threat going forward, same aggression without the ball and to score five goals and keep a clean sheet against this team, credit to the boys.”

The Gunners who remain at the top of the league table will now focus on their next match against Tottenham Hotspur.
