Rebuilding for next season: Arsenal to sell these four players after UCL exit

Arsenal were kicked out of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night after they suffered defeat to German side Bayern Munich led by former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

The Gunners are now focused on rebuilding their squad as they will be busy in the coming summer transfer window.

In a bid to bolster their squad under manager Mikel Arteta, the recent reports from Emirates revealed they are planning to sell at least four players this summer.

The North Londoners are preparing to sell four players, including Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Thomas Partey and Aaron Ramsdale.

A report via the Daily Mail revealed the players are considered “peripheral” and will be offloaded as part of the rebuild process.

Also, the Gunners are said to be targeting a new left-back this summer, with Oleksandr Zinchenko’s future coming into doubt.

With the UCL out of the way, Arsenal’s ultimate focus is now on how to secure the Premier League trophy, which they have not won since 2004.

As of now Man City have the edge to lift the title ahead of the Gunners once again.

Recall that Arsenal lost a chance to lift the trophy last season to Man City despite putting up a tough form during the season.
