Arsenal drop in the race to sign Chelsea target
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, will no longer be making a move for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, according to The Athletic.
The North London side who will be in the transfer market for a new striker this summer are looking at different players ahead of next campaign.
However, Arteta has who was previously linked with moves for Osimhen and Ivan Toney, has dropped his interest, according to latest reports.
Transfer expert, David Ornstein, said: “the likes of Sesko and Gyökeres are well thought of.
“As is Ferguson but the price Brighton would want and the season he has had so far perhaps makes him less likely at the moment.
“I don’t see it being an Osimhen or Toney. There will be other options too.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen on signing Osimhen this summer as there are claims they have reached personal agreement with him.
