Ten Hag speaks on Rashford’s future

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, in a recent comment, disclosed that the Ref Devils club intend to keep Marcus Rashford this summer.

There have been rumours that Rashford could exit Old Trafford soon especially as the Red Devils could benefit financially if they decide to sell him.

The proceed from the forward’s sale would boost Man United’s Financial Fair Play compliance since the rules favour clubs that receive transfer fees for academy graduates.

Despite Man United’s financial situation which has been described as “tight” ahead of the coming summer window, Ten Hag insists they want to keep Rashford.

“We did not sign him last season for four years with the intention to sell him now.

“He should be part of this project. It is not a subject we don’t talk about,” Ten Hag told a news conference on Friday.
