Arteta names player who is not ready to be a part of Arsenal squad

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has dropped a comment about the club’s summer signing Jurien Timber.

The Gunners boss stated that Timber was not ready to be a part of the Gunners squad.

Arteta gave an update on the fitness of Timber while speaking with the press ahead of Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

Timber has been on the sidelines with a knee injury since the opening game of the league campaign in August when he damaged his ACL.

“Jurrien Timber is still not ready to be part of the squad, but the staff are really happy with his attitude and commitment,” Arteta said.

“Jurrien is in a really good place, now we have to manage him.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal will hope to maintain their top form in a bid to win the Premier League title this season having lost it to Man City in the previous campaign.
