Man Utd told to sell this player
Former Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley has sent a message to Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe to consider selling Marcus Rashford this summer ahead of the next campaign.
Rashford was a key player, who guided Man United to a third-place finish in the Premier League and the 2023 EFL Cup glory last season.
The English star scored 30 goals and created 11 assists in 56 matches across competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side.
However, the 26-year-old has struggled to impress of late this season.
So far, Rashford has scored only five goals and created six assists in 31 matches across competitions for the Red Devils this campaign.
Speaking on ESPN, Burley advised Ratcliffe to put the attacker on the transfer list.
He said: “He’d be one of the first players—I mean, you have got your Antonys and all that, £100 million waste of space—Rashford would be one of the first players that I would be, if I was Sir Jim Ratcliffe, saying to, whether it is Ten Hag or whoever it is, he is on the transfer list because his attitude reverberates around the team.”
