Chelsea’s Palmer would not start for Man City – Agbonlahor

Former football star Gabby Agbonlahor believes Chelsea’s player Cole Palmer would not get into Manchester City’s team right now despite his excellent form this campaign

Recall that Palmer moved to Stamford Bridge from Man City last summer in a £45m deal and has been impressive at Stamford Bridge.

In 28 appearances, he has scored 12 goals and created nine assists.

However, speaking on talkSPORT,  Agbonlahor claimed that Palmer would still not get into Pep Guardiola’s squad.

On Palmer, the former Aston Villa striker said: “Palmer’s been outstanding, but would Palmer break into this Manchester City side? I don’t think so.”

The 21-year-old will go up against his former team on Saturday when Chelsea travel to the Etihad to take on the Premier League champions.

He would hope to score a goal against Man City to send a message to them for letting him join Chelsea.
