Arsenal tipped to beat Chelsea for Napoli forward

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been tipped to join Arsenal over Chelsea.

This comes as a recent report via the Athletic revealed that the Champions League could prove to be a deciding factor for Osimhen to consider a switch to the Premier League.

It is believed the Nigerian star will want to play in Europe’s top club competition, which Arsenal can offer him.

While he has been linked to Chelsea as well, the Blues are not playing in any European tournament this campaign.

And their chances of playing in Europe next season is not certain as they are seated at the 10th spot on the league table.

Arsenal on the other hand stand a chance of playing in Europe next season as they are currently at 4th spot on the table.

Osimhen is expected to leave the Serie A club this summer.

The 25-year-old recently made headlines when he signed a contract extension with Napoli, which includes a release clause of around £112m.
