Former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage has dropped his prediction ahead Liverpool vs Arsenal weekend game this weekend.

Robbie in his statement tipped the Reds to win by a 2-1 scoreline when both teams clash in the FA Cup this weekend.

Come Sunday, Arsenal will host Liverpool in the FA Cup third-round clash at Emirates Stadium.

The clubs who are seated in the top four on the Premier League title are tough race to lift the trophy this season

Writing in his PlanetSport column, Savage said, “All the stats suggest this could be Liverpool’s game. Arsenal with only one win from their last eight against Liverpool.

“[They] have won three of their last four at the Emirates. I think if both teams can play their strongest available XI, I think Liverpool might just have the edge.”

He added, “I think in transition and on the counter-attack, [They] can exploit Arsenal.

“Therefore, I’m going with a Liverpool 2-1 win.”
