Chelsea’s newest signing hails young defender

Chelsea’s latest summer signing Robert Sanchez has nothing but good words to describe the club’s young defender Levi Colwill.

According to Sanchez, Colwill is a very good player and a great addition to the Blues’ defence at Stamford Bridge.

This comes after Sanchez officially moved to Chelsea from Brighton on Saturday, signing a long-term contract with the Blues.

Before his move to Stamford Bridge, Sanchez had played with Colwill during their time at Brighton, which means he has witnessed impressive form from the defender.

Speaking to Chelsea’s official website, Sanchez said, “I spent last season with Levi and we have got a really good friendship now.

“I think the spell at Brighton was really good for him, it got him ready for what he’s going to face at Chelsea.

“He is a top player and still only 19, so the sky’s the limit for him.”
