Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has tipped Spanish club Real Madrid to lift the Champions League title this season.

This comes as the Los Blancos kicked out Liverpool from the UCL in the round of 16, leaving Chelsea  and Man City as the English clubs left in the tournament.

According to Klopp, Real Madrid are very strong as a team, and they have the experience to win the Champions League again.

The Reds manager spoke at his post-match press conference after Real Madrid eliminated Liverpool from the Champions League on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu.

A late goal from Karim Benzema gave Real Madrid a 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg tie in Spain.

The La Liga champions advanced to the Champions League last-8 on a 6-2 aggregate win, having won the first leg 5-2 at Anfield.

When asked if the Los Blancos are the favourites to win the Champions League, Klopp said at his post-match press conference: “Yes, based on their experience, but there are very strong teams.
