Hazard linked with return to Chelsea’s rival

Belgium international Eden Hazard has been linked with moves away from Spanish side Real Madrid amid rumours of his return to the Premier League.

Current Premier League toppers and Chelsea’s rivals, Arsenal are said to be keen on signing Hazard in the ongoing January transfer window.

According to Todofichajes, the Los Blancos are reportedly in negotiations with Arsenal on a loan deal for Hazard.

The report added that the Gunners want to offer Hazard a chance of redemption back in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Real Madrid want to move Hazard on, but the Belgian winger’s contract doesn’t end until 2024, and they would need another club to take him off their books.

Hazard was considered Chelsea’s talisman before he forced a move to Real Madrid a few years ago, where he has struggled to impress.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will hope that the former Chelsea star can replicate the previous form at Emirate Stadium.
