EPL: Tuchel reacts as Leicester City punishes target
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, in a recent statement spoke on Leicester City’s decision to punish their target Wesley Fofana for trying to force a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Foxes punished Fofana by asking him to train with their U-23 squad instead of the first team.
As a part of his bid to force a move to Chelsea, Fofana failed to show up for training last week.
The report revealed that Leicester City have turned down a few bids from the Blues for the French defender.
The defender was unavailable for selection for Leicester’s visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, amid ongoing uncertainty about his future.
And Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers has disclosed that the France international has been training with the U23 squad.
When asked about Fofana training with the U23 squad at Leicester, Tuchel said: “He’s not our player. It’s their decision and where it has to stay.”
The match against Chelsea ended in 2-1 defeat for Leicester City.
