Ozil predicts team to win EPL, UCL and world cup

Former Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has dropped a prediction on who would emerge winners in the English Premier League, the Uefa Champions League and the World Cup.

According to Ozil, Pep Guardiola’s led Man City side would emerge winner of this season’s EPL title again, having won it last season.

He said they would win ahead of Liverpool, who are closing on the Citizens.

In the case of the UCL, Ozil predicted Liverpool would win their seventh European crown this season, ahead of the current champions Chelsea, who won it last season.

Liverpool, led by Jurgen Klopp, have been paired against Benfica in the quarter-finals and will need to overcome either Bayern Munich or Villarreal in the semis if they are to qualify for the final.

Ozil, who won the World Cup in 2014 with Germany, also predicted that the Three Lions of England would win the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

We will have to wait to see how this will turn on in a matter of weeks.
