The recent reports have revealed that Man Utd are planning a summer move for Chelsea defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger in the summer.

It is no longer news that Rudiger is on a possible departure from Stamford Bridge this summer as his current contract will lapse this month.

As of the recent report, Rudiger has allegedly turned down the Blues’ latest offer.

With the look of things, Rudiger will be a free agent at the end of June, and both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be firmly in the hunt for his signature.

However, according to the Daily Mail, there are serious interest from Man United, with the 20-time English champions ‘watching developments closely’ ahead of a possible dramatic move.

Rudiger has been in impressive form for Chelsea during the 2021-22 season and already has goals to his name and has created four assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.

Man United are said to be planning to add a new centre-back to their squad this summer, with Phil Jones and Eric Bailly planning to leave next season.
