Chelsea returned to action on Tuesday night when they faced Brighton at Amex Stadium in the Premier League.

The Blues had an early lead in the match thanks to an effort from Hakim Ziyech in the first half.

However, the Blues were unable to add more goals as the likes of Romelu Lukaku were silent during the match and were not impressive.

The second half saw the home side fire in an equaliser thanks to a nod by Adam Webster.

However, in a post-match statement, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel while speaking on Lukaku’s performance vs Brighton, stressed that the Belgian striker was not the problem.

Tuchel, in a press conference, said, “I will not talk about single players. Today isn’t about Romelu. There are too many questions about Romelu and too many answers about Romelu. Romelu is by far not the problem, he is part of the solution.”

The Blues draw vs Brighton have seen them lose their chances of winning the EPL title this season as they are now 12 points always from league toppers Man City on the table
