The Red Devils will return to action on Thursday when they host Arsenal at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Man Utd will head to the match after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea over the weekend.

Ahead of the clash on Thursday, former Man Utd star Rio Ferdinand has sent a warning to Arsenal as he tipped the Red Devils to win.

According to Ferdinand, Man Utd players are beginning to gain back their confidence, and the former United star said this could be owing to the impending arrival of Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford.

He said, “I think Man United’s confidence is growing after the last two results. It’s just whether Ralf is going to come into the building immediately or not.

“I think there will be a bounce going into the game and it’s not a good time for any opponent to play against Man United with the impetus they can put in.

“Any team that gets a new manager when they come in… we saw with Norwich, we saw it with Aston Villa when Steven Gerrard went there and you’d like to think the same thing happens here and we bash up Arsenal.”
