Former Man City coach becomes one of the favourites to become Man Utd permanent coach

A recent report via Daily Telegraphy has claimed that Roberto Mancini has emerged as one of the coaches that could become Man Utd permanent coach next season.

Man Utd remain in the race for a permanent manager after the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a few days ago.

The Red Devils have been able to sign former RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick as their interim coach, who would manage the club’s affairs till the end of the season.

Italy international Mancini, who happens to be a former Man City coach, has been tipped to become the Red Devils new coach, joining the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane, who have been lined up for the job.

Mancini is currently the coach of the Italy national team and won the Euro2020 competition with them.

During his spell at Man City a decade ago, Mancini won the Premier League and FA Cup.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the 57-year-old’s manager could consider Man Utd with a return to the Premier League an appealing prospect despite being committed to his Italy job.
