Real Madrid linked with moves for Cavani
Spanish side Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Man Utd and Uruguay international Edison Cavani.
Recall that the 34-year-old striker recently returned to the Red Devils squad from injury, and he missed some of their matches.
Even with his return, Cavani would see his playing time reduce drastically at Old Trafford this season, owing to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
While Cavani current contract is expected to lapse at the end of this season, after which he would be leaving on a free transfer, there are, however, speculations that the Uruguay international could leave in the January transfer window.
This comes as Barca have taken interest in him as they see him as an option they can go for amidst their financial woes.
A report via the El Nacional claimed Cavani is also attracting the attention of Real Madrid, who are weighing up a move for the South American during the January transfer window.
We will have to see how this would go in January to see if any of the clubs would make a move for the Uruguayan striker.
