UCL: Juventus vs Chelsea – Perfect game to respond after defeat to Man City – Christensen

Chelsea will return to action in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday when they face Juventus in Italy.

The Blues will hope to return to winning ways after their recent defeat to Man City in the Premier League during the weekend.

Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen in a statement ahead of the match against the Old Ladies, said that the Champions League clash offers the perfect chance for them to react to Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Manchester City.

“It’s the perfect game to respond, absolutely,” Christensen told the club’s official website.

“It’s not nice to lose our first match, but now we have another game coming up very quickly, and it’s another tough game as well.”

He noted that the match against Juventus will be a challenging game, but it’s an excellent opportunity to get back to playing football the way the team want to play.

Chelsea won their first game in the UCL vs Zenit St. Petersburg last week and are at the top in the group alongside Juventus.
