Tottenham Hotspur star and England international, Harry Kane has been advised against a move to Chelsea and Man Utd.

Recall that a few days ago, a report revealed that Kane had informed Tottenham hierarchy that he wanted to leave the club over failure to lift a trophy.

Kane who still has some years to go in his current contract with Hotspur is known for his goalscoring abilities however without a title to his name.

He has also indicated interest to remain in England leaving the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City in the race to sign him.

However, former Arsenal star, Paul Merson in a latest statement has advised Kane from making a move to Chelsea and Man Utd as he said Man City makes the most sensible club to go to if he must leave Tottenham.

”If Harry Kane wants to win trophies, he has to go to Manchester City. You’re guaranteed to win trophies there,” Merson told the Daily Star.

“But he would have more of a chance of breaking Alan Shearer’s record as the greatest goalscorer in Premier League history if he stayed at Spurs.

“At City, he won’t play every game against the lesser teams in the league where you can win by three or four goals.”

Merson noted if Kane moves to Man Utd, he would come under scrutiny when the Red Devils are unable to win a trophy. He also added that a move to Chelsea would see the England international hated by fans owing to the rivalry between the Blues and the Hotspur.
