FA Cup: Date for Chelsea vs Crystal Palace confirmed

Chelsea and Crystal Palace have been paired against each other in the FA Cup semi-finals.

The latest report has confirmed the date and kick-off time for the Blues FA Cup semi-final clash with Crystal Palace.

Chelsea will face Crystal Palace at Wembley on Sunday 17 April, with the game kicking off at 4.30 pm.

Thomas Tuchel’s side made it to the tournament’s semifinal after it defeated Middlesbrough 2-0 in the quarter-finals courtesy of goals from Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, had defeated Everton 4-0 to make it to the semifinals.

The game is expected to be an interesting one, with Crystal Palace in top form lately.

On the issue of whether tickets will be available to fans to watch the match, Chelsea, in a statement via its official website, said ”further information regarding the tie, including ticket details, will be communicated in due course.”

Recall that the Blues were sanctioned from selling tickets by the UK government owing to their link with Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
