UEL: These two Man Utd players could be unavailable vs Villarreal
Ahead of Man Utd Uefa Europa League final vs. Spanish side, Villarreal next week, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed a list of two players that could be unavailable for the match.
Ole revealed that Martial Anthony and Harry Maguire will be unavailable for the match.
This is owing to the fact that the two players are battling with injuries.
Recall that Martial has been out since March 28 with a knee injury, while Maguire picked up an ankle injury in Man United’s 3-1 win against Aston Villa some days ago.
Speaking of Maguire, Solskjaer told MUTV: “He’s walking, but it’s a long way from walking to running.
“To be honest, I don’t think we will see him in Gdansk, no, but I am going to give him until Tuesday night, the last training session, to be out there.
“Steadily but surely, he’s improving, but ligaments take time to heal.”
He added, “Anthony’s not going to be available, but Scott [McTominay] and Fred should be okay.”
Before the match vs. Villarreal in the UEL, Man Utd will return to action this weekend when they play Wolves in their last match in the Premier League.
The Red Devils are currently seated at the second spot in the log table behind Man City.
