Man Utd’s plan for Ole revealed
Former Man Utd star and pundit Gary Neville in a recent statement, has revealed the club’s plan for their manager and Norway international Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
While Man Utd have continued to struggle under Solskjaer with their recent defeat to Man City pushing them further away from the top four on the EPL table, there were speculations that the Norwegian would be sacked, but he has remained as the Red Devils coach despite the growing pressure.
However, Neville, in his statement, has now disclosed that Man Utd plans to keep Solskjaer as coach till the end of the season while claiming that the Red Devils were never interested in signing Antonio Conte, who is now with Tottenham Hotspur.
“The club aren’t going to do anything here. Getting Antonio Conte was never, ever going to happen.
“The hierarchy were never going to appoint him, as great a manager as he is,” He said on the Gary Neville podcast.
“The plan all season has been to stick with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season, and that is where I am at, even after Saturday [Man United’s 2-0 loss to Man City].”
