Man Utd striker linked to Real Sociedad

The latest report has linked Man Utd striker and Uruguay international Edison Cavani with moves to Real Sociedad.

According to the report, Cavani is close to agreeing on a move to the LaLiga side this summer.

The Uruguay international, who moved to Old Trafford from Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer, had some impressive moments In his first season, scoring 17 goals.

His form has, however, dipped owing to injury this season, and many fans have questioned his commitment to the Red Devils.

Cavani’s contract with the Red Devils will expire this season,, and there is no hope in sight that he would get an extension, especially as they expect the arrival of a new coach in the summer.

There had been beliefs that Cavani would move to South America since Boca Juniors and River Plate tried to sign him last summer, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer convinced him to stay put for another 12 months.

However, according to the Sun, Cavani wants to remain in Europe and is close to agreeing on a move to Real Sociedad.
