Man Utd reportedly planning to replace Ole at Old Trafford

Manchester United are reportedly setting motions that would see them sack coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The report, however, suggests that Solskjaer would remain in charge at Old Trafford till the end of the season.

This comes as the Red Devils have seen their performances drop in their past few matches, especially their back to back defeat to Liverpool and Man City in the EPL.

The outcome has seen Man Utd drop to the sixth spot on the log table, and they could plunge further if they fail to improve.

However, Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane have been tipped as favourites to replace the Norway international at Old Trafford.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Solskjaer could potentially see out for the rest of the season, but the Red Devils are planning to replace the treble-winning forward.

The report claimed that the Foxes manager Rodgers is viewed as the preferred candidate, but he would rather wait until the end of the season before considering a move to Manchester United.

Brendan has some good records to his name as, unlike Solskjaer, he has won two trophies with the Foxes, lifting last season’s FA Cup before securing the Community Shield earlier this season.
