Man Utd determine to achieve success under Ole

Despite the growing pressure at Man Utd with fans calling for the sack of Norway international Ole Gunnar Solakjaer, a recent statement from the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has suggested that the Norwegian is not leaving any time soon.

This comes as Woodward, in a recent statement, stressed that the club management remains “determined” to achieve success under Solskjaer.

There is growing speculation concerning the Norwegian’s future at Old Trafford, with the reports claiming that the Red Devils are already preparing to replace him with a new manager.

The likes of Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers, former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and Luis Enrique have been named as favourites to replace Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

However, the changes might not come until the end of the season.

While speaking on the club’s latest financial results, Woodward, in his statement, suggested that the club are still backing their under-fire head coach.

“While these financial results today demonstrate our resilience through the pandemic, our top priority is success on the pitch,” Woodward said on Wednesday.

“The manager, players and everyone at the club are determined to achieve that objective.”

Man Utd will return to action this weekend when they play Watford in the EPL.
