Jurgen Klopp opens up on the future of Jordan Henderson amidst link to top clubs
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has finally broken silence on the future of Jordan Henderson, who has continued to be linked with a move out of the club.
Henderson currently has two years on his contract, and top clubs across Europe monitor his situation at Anfield.
The likes of Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly willing to sign him this summer, and speculation continues to swirl around his Anfield future.
However, with the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Alisson Becker already signing a new long term deal in the past few weeks, Klopp believes Henderson future will be sorted.
Speaking to the press concerning the future of Henderson, Klopp stated that it is important, but it will happen, he noted that Henderson future would be sorted, however, it will be.
Klopp added that he spoke with Henderson on Thursday and it looked like the new deal will be signed.
Henderson has played a huge role in Liverpool’s success in the past few years, and the Reds fans will be hoping he sign a new long-term contract.
